Adjectives are words that describe nouns by adding detail and specifications. There are comparative adjectives as well as superlative adjectives.
"The meal you've cooked is delicious."
Comparative adjectives: These compare two or more different noun by adding -er to the end of the adjective. For example:
"You have a bigger bookcase than I do."
Superlative adjectives: These are used to compare three or more items by adding -est to the adjective.
"The fastest route is by taking the highway."
There are also some irregular superlative adjectives.
"You're my best friend."
"It's the worst type of food!"
