Sentence Types: There are different types of sentences which are: declarative, exclamatory, imperative, or interrogative.
Declarative: A declarative sentence is a statement that states a fact or an opinion.
"Ella has bright green eyes."
Exclamatory: This type of sentence expresses an element of excitement, shock, or surprise within it.
"I just bought my first house!"
Imperative: An Imperative sentence gives a command or a suggestion. It can be either a statement or a question. The subject "you" is dropped in these sentences, however the meaning is still understood.
"Watch out!"
"Let's begin, yea?"
Interrogative: This is simply a question.
"Where did he go?"
Interrogative questions are put into two groups. Either by being answered with a yes/no, or with an answer that you can give an explanation with.
"Do you like pizza?"---> Can be answered with a yes/no.
"Would you mind telling me a bit about your work experience?" ---> Must come up with an explanation to answer.
