Present Simple: This type of verb expresses actions that are happening in the present moment. However, there are a few ways to express this. 1. Events that happen habitually. "It often takes me a while to understand what she's talking about." "I drink my coffee every morning." 2. Actions happening now: "I understand you." "I know." "I can see it." 3. Scheduled events in the future: "We are departing from the terminal in one hour." "The store opens/closes tomorrow at 9am/5pm." "We're leaving after breakfast."
